CVET Electricians: TRAINED TO BE THE BEST

The CVET workforce of IBEW Local #666 electrical workers and technicians is trained through the Richmond Electricians’ Joint Apprenticeship and Training Center (JATC) program at a state-of-the-art training and education facility in Ashland, Virginia.

Apprenticeship

The JATC prepares aspiring electricians and Local #666 members to be part of the industry's best-trained electrical workforce by providing free apprenticeship training.

The 5-year program features hands-on, on-the-job training and extensive classroom and laboratory work – all of which is provided by one of the world's largest education and training programs, the National Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee (NJATC) of National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) and International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW).

And CVET apprentices “EARN while they LEARN,” getting paid wages while they acquire their skills.

Journeyman Upgrade Training

The JATC helps keep Local #666 member electricians and technicians up-to-date with the latest industry skills, techniques and technology by providing no-cost update training classes and sessions to all Local #666 members.
